Construction progress... The concrete guys showed up, a bit later than we expected, but they're here and hard at work. They're building forms for the sun room and the mud room, plus a small pad to put our air conditioner compressor on. Debbie called me a little while ago to tell me that an enormous truck had arrived – I think she was afraid I'd purchased something truly ginormous :) The big truck is a crane truck carrying enough forms for 10 projects the size of ours. I think they just drove it over from some nearby job. Some photos:
That crane looks like it would be fun to play with. I don't think they'd let me, though :)
The current plan is to pour concrete tomorrow, for all three sub-projects. That should be exciting!

Macey's, our favorite local supermarket. Duke's mayonnaise is now being carried nationwide by Walmart – no matter where you live, now you can get it.
Yesterday afternoon I started catching up on a mountain of paperwork that's been building on my desk. This morning I'll finish that, and then (I hope!) I can start working my way through my mom's belongings that are now stored in my barn. There will be some sad moments as I do this, I know. Some of them we'll be keeping, some will go to Scott, some will be shipped to various and sundry relatives, but the bulk, I think, will be donated. We may be able to find good homes for some things, but much will go to Deseret Industries – an organization of the Mormon Church that does a great job getting used goods out to people who could use them.
