The photo at right is of Mt. Roraima, in Venezuela.  It doesn't look real – I'd have guessed it was created by an artist.  But it is real!  Here's a web site devoted to such things...

Bombs on London...

In WWII, that is.  Here's an amazing interactive map showing the exact location of every bomb that struck in the London area during the Blitz.

It was quite sobering to look at the areas I'm most familiar with, such as Richmond and Kew Gardens.  I've walked over or by quite a few of these bombed locations, but never knew it...
