Paradise ponders, gluey spray edition...

Paradise ponders, gluey spray edition...  I'll be working out in our yard most of today.  The weather is gorgeous, and I've got a backlog of things to do – starting with mowing.  If I have time, I'll also be spraying our yard and that of two of our neighbors.

But I did get a bit done this morning in the wood shop.  First I pulled the three boards I glued up yesterday out of the clamps and checked it out (first photo).  The assembly came out beautifully, with the homemade tongue-and-groove keeping the boards in perfect alignment.  Then I continued a project I've been working on intermittently: installing brackets to hold my clamp collection.  I have one more bracket to go, then this effort will be done.  Call it the “wall o’clamps!”

Awesome...

Awesome...  I'm sad to know that Cassini's mission is over in September.  I've been following it closely for so long now that it's become part of my daily routine.  At least it's going out with a bang, a big one!
