Palin Cartoons...

Simon M. sent along a collection of cartoons about Sarah Palin. These were my favorites. As always, click to enlarge:

  1. Gosh, I'm getting soooo sick of "Sarah"...

Watching her one-on-one interview was painful. She clearly gave many "canned" answers that were very off point. I was embarrassed for her.

She needs to get some more experience. And while we're on the subject of her wonderful "small town" experience lets take a closer look the so-called inexperience of that inexperienced "Obama"...and compare it to that inexperienced Palin...

Whose "experience" would you choose to hold high national office if there were no names listed here, just their qualifications?

    1st Person:
B.A in political science from Columbia University, with a specialization in international relations.
J.D. in Law from Harvard, graduated magna cum laude;President of the Harvard Law Review
12 years (92-04) teaching constitutional law
7 years State Senator: sponsored more than 800 bills
4 years Senator for Illinois, a state with 12.8 million people

    OR the 2nd person:
Bachelor's in journalism from University of Idaho
4 years Wasilla City Council (8000 people)
6 years Wasilla mayor (8000 people)
1 year "Ethics Commissioner of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission"
20 months governor of a state with 660,000 people

Keeping in mind that even though they are running for different offices, BOTH could become President...

The big difference between Obama and Palin is clear...THE PEOPLE ELECTED Obama to represent them as President. There are Millions of People that believe Obama has the experience necessary to be Commander and Chief. Now Palin on the other hand was picked at the last minute by a desperate candidate whose first two VP choices (Ridge, Lieberman) were rejected by the conservative right. A real "Maverick" would have stuck to his guns. Instead he bowed down to the extreme right of his party and caved in. NOW the GOP is trying to sell us on this HAND PICKED candidate as a representative of change and reform? They're trying to sell us that she has more "experience" than both Obama and Biden? How stupid do they think we are? Now I know the GOP doesn't believe in hand outs and affirmative action, but this smells like affirmative action at it's worst! Stop insulting people's intelligence, and for you republicans out there, you should demand better from your party! YOU'RE BEING HIJACKED BY THE FAR RIGHT ONCE AGAIN! THE SAME FAR RIGHT THAT PUT GEORGE W. IN OFFICE! DON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN!
