And then there was just one... I started out with three kids to tutor, and then one of them dropped out because of other obligations. Now a second has dropped out, partly because soccer season has started, and partly (I suspect) from feeling behind. That leaves me with just Abby (at right), a bright and highly motivated student. That grin is because I told her to “say cheese!”. She's picking up material rapidly – and now that she'll be the only one in class, I can throw material at her even faster. She won't be bored :) She and I had a fun class today, especially when she got to program interactively with me – something that's really only practical in a one-on-one scenario...
