Class warfare in San Francisco?

Class warfare in San Francisco?  The Googlers and their ilk are raising the cost of living in San Francisco, and the natives don't like it very much...

  1. Its stupid, irresponsible "journalism". The same people complain when companies do not provide high enough salaries and benefits and then complain when they do. And, as in the case most of the time when such class division is used, the author forgets to mention what it takes to earn a position at a company like google and what google expects in return and I guarantee you that most people that are jealous of the perks, would be unwilling, even if they were capable, of putting in the work it takes. Whats happening, and the media is complicent, is that the population is being conditioned to believe a few things

    1) they are the have-nots. Even though they have cable TV, food on the table, housing etc. that they do not pay for themselves, they are somehow "poor".
    2) they deserve everything the same as the "haves" without putting in the effort or making the same choices. equality of outcome regardless of equality of effort.
    3) the "haves" didn't earn and do not deserve what they have.

The media and the vast majority of our politicians spend their time fostering these notions and taking advantage of them.
