How About a Shotgun?

A man, his wife, and their kids, escaping from the 1992 riots provoked by the Rodney King beatings.  They were unarmed, and being attacked by hundreds of rioters.  Just read it...

  1. The article really reminds us that WE are responsible for our own and our families safety. I'm frankly stunned at the blatant elitist rhetoric from Bloomberg, Cuomo, Obama and the like. THEY have 24/7 protection. They and others like them can afford armed body guards. I can't. But I can afford a gun. Where we make the turn from protecting ourselves to having to take the beating and hope we don't die? Give up the wallet and hope they don't take more? Retreat in our own homes? Where did we make the change to believing someone that blatantly lies and spouts nonsense. DC, New York, Chicago all have ridiculously gun laws and also the highest murder rates. But somehow they can still stand up in public and tell me with a straight face we need to "toughen" gun laws and that I shouldn't have the same rights as they do. - We are so finished. - Larry
