Probably has to happen ever couple hundred years to keep out the rot.
I told a friend of mine recently that instead of voting for grid-lock and against all the stupid propositions on the ballot, I'm considering voting for the incumbent and for whatever lame thing on the ballot might push us to bankruptcy sooner. Get it over with so we can start over and get on with things.
