Peggy Noonan has made the hard trip from Obama fan to Obama critic. I've noticed a pattern that intrigues me, and which Ms. Noonan fits: there seem to be a disproportionate number of women in the media (both lamestream and bloggers) who were initally positive about Obama, but during the past year have swung negative. Ann Althouse is another example.
There are plenty of men who have done the same thing, of course, but my impression is that there are quite a few more women. And I wonder why this would be so...
I noticed the same thing with Ms Noonan as well..I use to consider reading her columns as going to the conservative oracle..but since 'hope and change' and your point above... I'm confused...
