The California Department of Forestry (CDF) fire-fighting planes are flying right over hour house on their missions to and from the Border 50 fire. I took this photo just a few minutes ago. As I write this, the CDF is reporting 0% containment, and not even an estimate for containment. Today is the first day of a projected two-to=three day Santa Ana wind condition, so even though this is some distance from our home (about 10 miles), we can't dismiss it.
