Of virtu...</title><content type='html'>I think they actually make more than one. Of virtually everything they send up it seems. So they can troubleshoot problems and such on the ground before going up. Maybe the cost of getting to orbit is so high that it justifies the enormous expense for making everything absolutely as perfect and fault tolerant as possible? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I always wondered about the clean-room, white scrubs, and incredibly risk adverse nature of NASA.
